Shattered by Eric walters
The book I am reading im not quite done but im a good portion through it. My book is called Shattered by Eric Walters and so far it is an alright book. The book is about a boy named Ian who will fail civics class if he doesn't do community service hours. The place he chose to work at for his hours is the club, which is a soup kitchen for the homeless. If he doesn't pass civics he doesn't get his car so the stakes are high. Ian meets a man named mac who owns the kitchen and they meet several homeless people along the way, inluding sarge a so called former soldier whom Ian's teacher wants Ian to interview for extra credit in civics class to ensure he doesn't fail. The park is also dangerous at the same time and Ian gets in some heat from thugs along the way but makes smart decisions to make sure it will never happen again.
So, overall this book isn't that bad but I could easily put it down and do something else. If you are a major book lover I would definitly recomend this book for you and you probably wont put it down like I can. Also, this book is easy to read and is recommend for high school students as it is a White Pine book. So to sum is up if your a book lover in highschool find this book.

Use more and better punctuation.
ReplyDeleteCapitalize names and use more punctuation in your post. I find that your post is very hard to read because the colours you made the words and the backround is very distracting and confusing. I think you should have said what kind of book lover like action, fantasy, and mystery instead of just book lover.
