Ian The Woundorus Character Archetype

In my book Shattered by Eric Walters my character Ian in my opinion exibits some characteristics of a hero. Some of these characteristics are fool, changing and growing, self sacifice, and, reluctant. Ian exibits all of these archetypal characteristics. Ian is a fool because he made the choice of almost failing english class. He is changing and growing because he sort of has a hidden love for home less people that grows and one he didn't have at the begining.Ian has self sacrifice because he sacrifices his time, effort, dignity to research on the computer, interview a soldier, and work at the homeless soup kitchen just to pass his civics class. Finally, Ian is reluctant because he didn't want to volunteer at the soup kitchen in the first place and wasn't sure about it.

"I'd travelled no more than a dozen steps when I had second thoughts" (Eric Walters, Shattered, page3). I chose this quote because it proves that Ian is reluctant. Ian was reluctant to cut through the park because it was a dangerous neighborhood and the park is also dangerous at night. These are a few archetypal characteristics of Ian

  1. These entries are good Eric. (like wondrous, exhibits, English class, homeless, beginning). You have used a direct quotation, and included a proper citation as well. Check your spelling carefullyYou need to catch up on BP #6, 7 and 8.
