My book im still reading is Shattered by Eric Walters. Im still reading it because im a BUSY MAN! My protagonist is Ian a regular highschooler trying to pass civics class and doing community service hours to do so. A direct qoute to prove his attitude to the situation in civics class would be: " Im just trying to do my hours so I can pass" (page21, Shattered).
What ive learned about Ian so far is that he is only doing the community service because he wants his car that his dad will by him if he passes. I also learned underneath all of that he is a caring guy who has a soft spot for homeless people.
I think with his attitude he has a chance at achieveing his goal and ultimatly his car. So I predict that he will also help homeless people to.
I chose the video at the top because it describes how a homeless person lives which I knows about. Also, the book pretains to homeless people.
This video changes the way I look at homeless people.
ReplyDeleteI have not yet read this book but i think it sounds very interesting and about how most people live i think that your video goes along with your post because it is about a homeless person. Instead of using My book at the beginning of your post you should use the book so it makes better sence also you should read over some of your sentances because they dont make sence. I found that your letter and the backround coulor was very distracting and you should maybe think of changing it when you do your next post.Does Ian pass so he can get his car? I have not read another book like this. I hope to read more and eventually read the book.
ReplyDeleteI find the video you have chosen to be quite meaningfull and touching. It really changes the way that someone may look and feel about homeless people. Overall this was another great blog post. keep up the great work.
